Fist EKC PhD student graduated

As the first of five EKC PhD students, which have been supported through the Else Kröner Center Würzburg-Mwanza, Nyanda Justine defended his thesis on Schistosomiasis at his home university in Mwanza, Tanzania. 

In the framework of the bilateral EKC PhD program, Nyanda spent a substanial amount of his research time in Würzburg, where he was supervised by Prof. Brehm(IHM) and Dr. Müller (medmissio). His research has been published in several peer-reviewed journals.
